Orihime Gives Bleach its highest Rating so far! I mean, were we really surprised? Orihime deserved her spotlight and it was a good moment for her. Fans even compared her sacrifice to that of Hinata and Naruto during the pain arc, which I STRONGLY disagree with but in terms of hype, I get… read more
From 2024. That currently has a 7.4 rating on IMDB. Apparently it isn't exploitative. Which is a relief. And I do applaud more media visibility for people with Down Syndrome. Still, I'm not sure about wstching it...

Maybe the most surprisingly enjoyable movie I've ever watched. Smoothly goes between comedy, drama, romance, thriller without ever feeling meandering, disjointed or abstract the way a lot of genre mixes do. The closest thing I can think of that I've seen is something like SLC Punks or Eternal… read more
First tomb, first relic monster, and Jooheon Suh is already dominating! 🐍✨ Episode 2 just dropped, and between his brilliant tactics and that wild "Destroyer of Worlds" prophecy, we are completely hooked. With a massive 8.8/10 IMDb rating for this episode, this series is proving it’s not playing… read more

What’s your favorite Spielberg cinematic movie that he directed? The list is from IMDB site. If there is something he did he did not direct that is your favorite, feel free to mention in comments. Doesn’t even have to be a cinematic as it could be TV. (Sorry not to include more as it’s limited to… read more

The Thing (1982) IMDB: 8.2 In remote Antarctica, a group of American research scientists are disturbed at their base camp by a helicopter shooting at a sled dog. I haven't seen alot of it. Chris Pratt is pretty decent in action shows and movies. It got an 8.2 on IMDB. Naturally that means it's a bunch of people inflating the score or it might actually be worth a watch. (edited)
Please do recommend movies to watch with a short imdb link (as there are a lot movie remakes or lookalikes) ... Thank you and ❤️ P.S. Likes do not mean a thing, I mean thx for likes, but think and if u can remember any to recommend, please do. Thx (edited)
What is the last good horror movie you have watched? I have a feeling that the new movies of this genre aren't quite up to the level to the ones from the 80s, 90s or even early 00s. So I struggle to find a good horror movie nowdays to watch and be left petrified. 👻 The last one I've watched was… read more
People have their preferences, I know. . It is rated as follows: 7.2/10 IMDB 77% rotten tomatoes . So is it Yay? Or Nay? (edited)
So, when I saw there was a new ninja turtles movie out.... I thought.... Opportunity to laugh. Then I saw Netflix is backing it..... Hopes dashed right there. But just so I could properly make fun of it, I looked further. First, it's an animation. Then it was some of the junkiest animation ever… read more
Just watched "Top Gun: Maverick" (2022) last night. It was a total banger! It's been 36 years since the first installment in the franchise came out. I was totally lost in the feels as if I was there and reliving it from that time. The OSTs and remake of the old music from the original "Top Gun"… read more
Platoon (1986): Directed by Vietnam War veteran, this movie depicts the effects the war had on minds of soldier with very great accuracy. They have to deal with that problem while fighting against enemies in Vietnam. IMDB: 8.2
The thing that struck me in this one, is that Hugh Grant, the seasoned professional actor with many movie credits to his name; played the weakest character in the movie. He almost seemed like he was stuck in Fletcher mode (Fletcher being his character in The Gentlemen). I just feel like they may… read more

Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone had any good horror movie recommendations currently on UK streaming services. Horror films get the worst IMDb ratings I find, we are a fussy lot. lol. Any good movies very much appreciated 🫶
So, She-Hulk is at 5.9 on IMDB. That is a bit low in my opinion. We are talking about a hulk here. This isn't Ms. Marvel 😆 Granted, the 1st episode was too playful. But I saw abomination on the cast. So, I'm guessing the show is going to get better. Plus, her blood did help stabilize "smart-hulk".
Well, that was my earlier perception too. Until that episode where he managed to secure a big client with his own way. Successful? good boss for sure, but in business... well.. Champions (2023): This is 'Chak De India' of Hollywood that focuses on a disgraced coach who gets the impossible task of coaching the team of some 'special athletes'. And they've got the girl from legion, who is perfect as a commanche warrior. It got a 6.6 on IMDB but predator movies haven't scored big since the oldest with Arnold. Doesn't mean it's not fun to watch 👍😁 (edited)
I've been going thru Nicolas Winding Refn IMDb and came across this mini series. NWRs flavor of filmmaking is all over this series with slow pacing, neon visuals, and minimalist dialogue. It's much appreciated after the flop that is Only God Forgives.
