Is it weird that I watch the "The Mandalorian and Grogu" once a week?

Binge watch Mandalorian S3

Like if you also celebrate the series 😁

My “Mandalorian on vacation” cosplay at Dragon Con last year.

Sadly going to miss this years Dragon Con. But hoping to be back for 2027 and in a full Mandalorian cosplay armor.

So who’s coming with me to watch Mandalorian and grogu then 🤔

Being in a country where people don’t get it is a sad state of affairs.

A Mandalorian Cosplay

Just trying this out for the first time. This is a Heavy Mandalorian x Halo Spartan helmet. I have other parts printed out. But with the heat this summer I haven't had much time to really work on it. Definitely shooting for San Japan 2027. Printed in ABS on an Bambu Labs H2S

The Mandalorian And Grogu

Meanwhile, outside of a theater showing The Mandalorian and Grogu...

I had not watched the series, but went with a friend to see the movie. I liked that they didn't try that hard to make Grogu look like a realistic puppet, outside of his close ups. At times it was giving off "Mac & Me" vibes. (edited)

Mandalorian & Grogu

I watched the film today, and it was really good! If you're a fan of Clone Wars, Rebels, and the Mandalorian; this film is faithful to the source material and filled with action and world-building. The only part that seemed a bit too on-the-nose to me were the lines for a particular Hutt. Other… read more

Thoughts on the meta narrative in Backrooms?

I thought the focus on imperfect copies was pretty interesting and there's just a lot to go off of from there. Could be multiple themes or at least multiple interpretations! I really do feel like there were some statements about art. 1) BACKROOMS COPIES Backrooms spawned a lot of copycats across… read more

The Mandalorian And Grogu (2026)

Anyone else looking forward to The Mandalorian and Grogu!

Where's the Gimmicky 3D?

Went and saw Mandalorian and Grogu in 3D today. I like seeing movies in 3D still, but I grew up in the crazy days of 3D movies in the 80s. Back then, filmmakers would throw little things in to make the 3D even more gimmicky. Friday the 13th was great with this. All through the movies, things are… read more

Sadly I’ll be missing out on Dragon Con this year. But hoping everyone who is going has a great time and hoping to be back in 2027 in a full Mandalorian cosplay. 😂

So here's your chance to rate and review.

Recent watches of note…

Watched ST: The Motion Picture and The Wrath of Khan recently. All still great. Obession (Horror). Was good, enjoyed. Project Hail Mary was very good, liked that a lot. Supergirl. It was alright. Terrible music usage, not great visually, otherwise okay/good, I think. Evil Dead Burn. I did not… read more

"Put that back immediately!"

Mandalorian & Grogu

A bit too obviously child-friendly and a bit lacking in depth and complexity, it was, however, packed with lots of action, and featured some of the best fight choreography in recent Star Wars. The amount of excitement it gave more than compensated for the eye rolling moments, and the movie was… read more

Had a Great Time

Went to the cinema and saw The Mandalorian and Grogu today and it was a great movie!

When tough times come, it is particularly important to offset them with much gentle softness. Be a pillow.

Do you care about your pillows? They care about you. The moment you purchase them, they imprint on you and offer comfort to only you and no one else. I know this because I house sat this weekend and the pillows were not my own, which made sleep incredibly difficult. This concludes my pillow… read more

Mandalorian & Grogu

I kinda enjoyed the movie. Yeah, it's a 2-and-a-half episode of the show, but I like the show! So. Yeah. Thoughts?
