I've been wanting to get back in to it, but every time I try, I get so bored so quickly. I think part of it reminds me of my ex since that was how we bonded long-distance. The another part is just not having any friends to play with. Then the other part is working third shift and working so often. What do y'all suggest?

Hiii, this is my first post! But anyway — I haven't played Minecraft since about 2022, for context. As a former console player, I couldn't run the mods I wanted to, nor could I play many games (esp modded) as I tried running them on a MacBook. Last year, in June 2025, I built a PC for my birthday so I could run the titles I wanted to play with mods and even explore new games not available on console. I haven't touched my MacBook or Console since. 

A few months ago, my friends and I started a modded MC server, and I decided that my first build would be a 'hidden' (not-so-hidden) storage unit... so I could... well... prepare for the humongous embedded mountain house I wanted to build. Most of the 'building' was terraforming, since I needed to raise the ceiling for the unit. I essentially tried to expand the mountain that was already there without it looking too superficial, considering I added trees that don't naturally grow in the biome, lmao; they're more of a marker for myself and friends. Inside isn't nearly done, still hollowing out the space and whatnot!

I've been recreating the first hub from Spyro Year of the Dragon, Sunrise Spring. It's not done, but I'm not too far away.

I went with Sunrise Spring over other Spyro levels because my earliest memory and first experience with a video game was playing this hub when I was 3.

I cried because I couldn't figure out how to jump out of that river.
