Hello everyone! My thoughs circled around a lot lately, so I hope its okay to drop by here with myself with my story. So here we go.
I am actually graduated 27 old musician myself. Sadly my health don't allow me even work now, so I am recovering almost year and half now (long story...). But still, as I recovering right now...There was a small desire of me from my 11 old self. I found out that I can sing as I used to study also at flute. And also I catch to learn guitar, piano, everything I could find (we are musicians family, lots of Instruments was at home lol)...Times came by and of course 14-15 old me (I think, can't remember...) found world of youtube where I heard cover versions of popular songs usually from my dad, from music school, or radio from lots of artists. I was awestrucks like: How they did it? Did they recorded at some studio? Etc...In my age between 15-23, I used to study at conservatory. I mastered flute but...circumstances were that I could never been good at it (i used to have helath problems that time as well)...everyone said that to me full time that I should switch different school...if I think about it...it was hell...but I didn't stop because I loved music...and I still love...and there is still small desire, which I didn't said at start: I learned at least little at instruments because I wanted to do cover versions as well. And if i will be good at it, try own music if I will be good. Well problem is. I have never did music. In my state is proverb: If I'm not rich, at least I'm happily married 😅 (Which is true 😆). So I am asking. As someone who doesn't have Mac, but own PC, flute, piano, guitar, voice
voice...What the heck is Digital Audio Workstation (DAW)? 😳 I heard u can mix music at home with that software but there is a problem. I heard a lot usually Mac is working at the best, but we absolutely can't allow to buy. So I wanna ask if its there is program for PC (I mean windows) for free at the best.

I know, if I looked at it. Only think I feel sorry that I feel like I am late for this staff at 27 old life...I want to create content in future where I can do cover versions and own music on my own taste/version (at youtube, spotify, etc...)...if u know what I mean. Like I am something missing what I didn't do. Everytime was said to me I am not good, I must be excellent at level...Nope...not anymore. I don't wanna be excelent or leveled or perfect for someone...I know this will be nothing new and maybe i will be sound like naive stereotype but...I wanna make someone smile as I used to when I was a kid...that's what I miss...even as adult when I used to sang or play sometimes I STILL did make them smile some ppl. This is what I wanna make after my recovering!...

Serum or Vital?  I'm not asking about Omnisphere or anything but keep. Just Serum vs Vital.  I will always say Serum all day every day but I find Vital a little more user friendly for sound design.  but it still isn't.Serum. which thankfully I haven't had to use massive for years. K was the only one who hated it apparently.

Who or what band inspired you produce music (and/or create it!)?

The most creative work arounds you've found in solving a problem involving equipment failure and your on the fly solution. Mine wasn't anything special. Personal project so I wasn't on a deadline. But regardless, CPU fried. Devastated. So I hacked my kindle fire to make it android before i knew that was a thing you can just download. Bandlab had just come out. So I downloaded my stems and samples etc. used nothing but the sampler in the bandlab Android app and my stems to finish an EP and mixed and mastered it with bandlab. On a kindle. Needless to say I'm more just proud that I finished it at all. It wasn't great.adjustijg the knobs was like using a micro raven.

So let's talk about

I'm literally taking a break from mixing so I figured why not. This is why I want female vox. This vibe.

Aight last one for the night

Genre mixes lately?  I was messing around with mixing like super dark hip hop beats g59 type beats with riddim and other bass music basses but slowed down the twt o LFO and ingot some interesting tracks out if it. Also still trying to throw future bass influence into everything.. been wanting to remix or cover something it's been a while since I did a remix and I still have an Ocean Eyes remix basically mapped out I might mess with. I've been so creative for months now I just keep writing and writing new tracks every day.
