I finally saw The Odyssey!

All that social conservative whining over what? Out of the 172 minutes in its runtime a couple of them include screen time given to a black actress playing Helen of Troy, and a few more minutes for a character who happens to be played by an acclaimed trans male actor. Both of whom were great in… (edited) read more

Film #146 Blade Runner 2049

Science Fiction Only a talented director like Villeneuve could have pulled it off and thank god it wasn't Nolan. The mustard tint, Zimmer almost matching Vangelis's haunting score, great cinematography, and intense Gosling. Only weak points: Slightly illogical story, Leto and Luv. Could have found… (edited) read more

Anyone else see The Odyssey?

I think this is one of my favorite movies of the decade. I was enthralled and it didn't feel like 3 hours. Kind of reignited my interest in Greek mythology. For context, when I saw the trailers, I had no initial interest and I'm a huge Nolan fan, so if you're in doubt, give it a shot.

The Odyssey

I Just watched this banger ~ the Odyssey !! Christopher Nolan has once again proved why he's a legendary filmmaker. Stunning visuals, brilliant storytelling, pure emotions and an unforgettable cinematic experience .

no social life = plenty of time to watch movies🥰 Spider-Man: Brand New Day - best of Tom Holland's spiders, the best Hulk fight on screen and the rooftop scene was so cold The Odyssey - a christianized version of ancient myth, Nolan not only can't write women, but to make Lupita look so bad is an… read more

OTD 50 years ago, 29 brave men lost their lives in the frigid waters of Lake Superior. Gordon Lightfoot immortalized their tragedy in his 1976 hit; The Wreak of the Edmund Fitzgerald. The 29 men I listed below:

Nolan-nites

Heard there were a few horror-like scenes in the Odyssey (haven't watched it yet!). If Nolan was to make a horror film what should be the concept / remake?? Dante's Inferno could be a shout but I'd rather Eggers tackle that

Pick one

Guys which is the best Nolan movie of all time?

Christopher Nolan

I feel like Tenet is such an under appreciated movie for its concept of time and art direction. My whole life is a temporal pincer, I swear (edited)

The latest Invincible Episode was insane

I liked how everything flowed, from start to finish. Especially how they handled the scene where Debbie and Nolan met again, it's a lot more realistic compared to the comicbook. The animation was really good too, they upped the quality this time around fr

What are your most anticipated movies this year?

First of all, this is definitely not the complete list because I probably forgot a few here and there, but these are my most anticipated movies. Favorite Film Trilogy?

What is your favorite film trilogy? Note I might make some exceptions such as Toy Story since there is a 4th film, but the majority agrees that it shouldn’t have existed. Also, not counting sequels that havent been released yet. I can only put 10 on the list due to app limitations, so if your… (edited) read more

I am obsessed with Christopher Nolan movie "Oppenheimer". (edited)

Barbenheimer

People who've seen both Oppenheimer and BARBIE (especially the same day), what did you think?? My own experience for context: I watched them about 11 hours apart (Oppenheimer at 11am and BARBIE at 10pm) as opposed to a double feature (mainly because it was an impromptu Barbenheimer, and… read more
