PROGRAMMING MODE

I just start doing programming courses and it's so hard for me because i don't have motivation at all to learn anything about any of this program. Not that i don't like it, but i feel it's not my passion to do it meanwhile my family put their hopes (more like forced) into me for being a good programmer following my older brother's steps. Any advice everyone?

I would recommend you to do research various fields of programming. And find something that speaks to you and use that as a goal to work towards. Programming is like being able to talk or read. It's a base tool which you can use to do or progress the thing you love. Maybe you have no passion for reading, but being able to read made you able to progress in passions which required it. Also, take baby steps.. 1 thing at a time. So it does not become overwhelming. I hope it helps ✨️

Like someone else said try to look for something in programming you think you will enjoy. If you can't find anything then don't force yourself to do it. Programming is by no means easy and its not for everyone

Hmm. Did you choose your goal? It's better to choose, what you want to do, then choose the language, framework, maybe. And then learn. Being a generalist pays much less, then a specialist. Also, programming is not for everyone, you know, like any other activities :) Do you want it?

i dont think you are alone, in fact ive heard the same or similar from almost everyone ive met who is new to programming! what can help you is to find something that really interests you and can motivate you to learn about it. for example at one point i looked into AI or machine learning and i thought it was interesting and all the cool stuff people has done with it; after that i saw that people in that field are paid very well and then i saw that python is really easy to understand. anyway, this is what kept me going maybe this helps you find what that thing to motivate you
