Anyone else into customizing their controllers themselves?

For me these builds started when a new controller developed stick drift after two days of use and I was told warranty does not cover stick drift :/ Punk Bunny is my daily. The Wolverine/Spider-man one I built as a birthday present for My elder brothers 6y old grandkid (He’s a fan of both). Parts… (edited) read more

Falling apart I falling back into old habits and I know why. Im doing things I know i shouldn't but without my other half, I dont care. Its weird when I think about it. Soups and stews are my therapy

Making broth from scratch to assembly and garnish. The universe always delivers the opportunity to make soup whenever I need to veg out and feel better. Something I did a few years ago at an old place. Carbonnade with some Potato Croquettes.

A $20,000 quoted job.

Just reassembling a tractor i split in 4 parts to get to the shuttle clutch assembly i had to rebuild.

Short walk today.

I'm on day five of migraine this week, so the walk today was a short one. There's a few hundred meters there's no street lights due to some construction work, so I wore a head torch along with my usual assembly of hi-viz 😂

What's your favourite dessert and what do you like about it?

I've made desserts from every continent except Antarctica and while I am far from finished in this journey of discovery, I definitely have my favourites. Namely, I love: 1. An apparently Spanish variant on lemon meringue pie. 2. Banoffee pie from England. 3. Caramel pecan pie from the US. 4.… (edited) read more

Pool Of Tears

My Small Collection

I’m a big fan of the Creator 3-in-1 sets. 🥹One day when I have the space, I want to get a 2000+ build. I want something that’ll take me days because I really enjoy the assembly.

Midnight assembly

✊️😤

Start my new job tomorrow doing assembly for liteon, despite how much I been through something good came out of it. Very grateful 🙏

Most ridiculous food thing you made.

It's been a few years and wish I had more photos available but in my late 20's I made this, the meat scorpion! It took, 2 days of prep 8h of cooking and timing on 5 different devices to assemble this monstrosity hot and ready in 5 min. Had help during assembly and I didn't weld the frame or make… (edited) read more

Warhammer Hobby

Here’s some WIP 🚧 of my first 6 months diving into the Warhammer 40K hobby. I feel I’m developing a fulfilling skill set; each model assembly, color study and paint scheme is like leveling up. I’m stoked I found this hobby….maybe one day I will actually play the table top war game. For now…I… read more

The Irony of AI

In every era of technological upheaval, there is a temptation for industry leaders to convince themselves that efficiency alone is the goal. Replace the slow with the fast, the expensive with the cheap, the human with the machine. But there is a lesson tucked into the early pages of industrial… read more

Assembly time

Got the pockets skived and my hands are killing me, but at least it’s over.

Rear fogs finally installed

Pellets were on sale this week, so I got my 3 tons, so that’s done for winter. So even though it was below 50F with the wind chill and looked like rain all day, I decided I’d better get going at this again. Now that I made the die grinder guard. And that thing helped big time. Especially with this… (edited) read more

Just sharing this information to feed your mind.. (Not to be stupid)!

For centuries, many of us grew up looking at more or less the same world map. Europe looks large. Greenland appears almost as big as Africa. But there is a problem. Those are not their actual sizes. On September 4, 2026, the United Nations (UN) General Assembly supported a resolution to… read more

Lan parties

Are LAN Parties popular where you are from? There are some big events like assembly in finland where large amount of people gather, but I have not heard if people do it spontaneously anymore. On the side: suggest great games for LAN parties that are now in summer sale on steam!

Manual Air Relief Valve

Had a fun property project for a shattered air relief valve. Cost roughly $55 for the assembly and $12 for the marine lubricant. Super smooth installation process on a tr100c sand filter.
