Can we like, revive the times when games were developed for the players to genuinely have fun and enjoy, instead of being money cash grabs that drain their wallets to oblivion? This is why I own a modded Ps3 in 2026

I was in creative mode trying to figure out how to build my second story of my home base on my survival file. (Using very basic materials since that's what I have to work with on the main file, upgrading materials later.) Then I heard a Enderman warping around... "Ey! You put that back you… read more

Sony is officially killing off physical game discs for all new PlayStation titles starting January 2028. Moving forward, the entire ecosystem—including the rumored PS6—is going completely digital-only. Here is what you need to know: 💿 The Cutoff: No new physical discs will be printed after… read more
While there were also video game stuff in the house growing up and enjoyed the few that I had, I didn't take seriously till I got my own income and bought a ps3 back in 2007. In 2017, when Horizon zero dawn and Zelda breath of the wild came out, I suddenly felt the impression of wondering maybe I… read more
I was given this PS3 for free since it didn't work and thought to be beyond repair. Turns out it just needed a hard drive. So I stole one from another PS3. Huge win for my growing collection of consoles. Too bad I dont own too many Playstation games, going to need some proper recommendations for… read more

I mostly game on my PS3 and steam. I have been playing bo1 & bo2 zombies since highschool and still quite addicted to it. Lately, I went on steam and downloaded No More Room In Hell and Codename Cure II if anyone wants to play ☺️
The drive finally died after years of service. Time to replace the drive.

Sure, it started out as a Dreamcast game, but eventually made its way to the Gamecube, PS2 & PS3... I really enjoyed it. Kind of the last game in the series that played a lot like the original game.

If you're looking for a hidden gem from the PS3 era, please give **Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom** a chance. I believe it's also available on Xbox 360. It's a beautiful adventure game with an open world, clever puzzles, exploration, and a touching story. The bond between the main characters is… read more

Following my previous post, today i fixed up the thermal compounds and installed the new 480gb ssd - seems to help even though ps3 is sata1 and doesn't support trim.
Got all of this for xmas (except switch) o_o (Cheapo PS5, free PS3, Vita and games from work, ...) Already had that PS3 taken apart 3x to fix the drive, clean it, etc. Next is SSD upgrade tomorrow, and I think I'll repaste it while I'm at it~

I'm playing the original Ratchet and Clank, the Collection version on PS3. I'm trying to platinum it. What makes this game so hard is the wonky controls! Also, unpredictable enemies.
