Has anyone ever served on jury duty? Had that yesterday. Boring! Sat for 7 hours. 260 of us. Only 1 person was picked. Reading, sleeping, reading, sleeping

Why do people do it especially in the workplace? I have friend who is experiencing this and I feel companies don't take it seriously enough. It doesn't just affect one person it affects their friends, families. Just leave people alone.
