@Kostas please @anyone for me? Yes I'm being blantly selfish but I really need the attention rn 🥹🥹. This old ward, is where I constricted core part of my identity. Inner resilience, inner empathy and inner intelligence from inner stupidity. My standards on dating apps based on the amount of turmoil I endured and still smiled at the end. Such as being bit, punched, and chasing after a child to a train. My old work place is starved, the HR is hungry and eating their employees alive with no 15 minute breaks to supply to thee. I now work in a more clinical hospital ward that's much safer for me. Mentally and physically 🥹♥️

I pulled the plug on my old job. It was time. ByeBye old job, the old psychward for crazy teens that I adored. I am onto new things, the trauma and memories you gave me like an old toxic ex is finally enough for me.

AGE. IS. NOT. JUST. A. NUMBER.
Age represents so much more - emotional and physical maturity, psychological development, and a whole world of life experience.
Yes, I KNOW that a 15-year-old can sometimes have more experience or insight than someone twice their age. It happens. But you can’t fool nature. Someone who just turned 18 was still a minor, a CHILD months ago, and their brain is still FAR from fully developed.
Dating a teenager when you’re in your 30s, 40s, or beyond isn’t romantic - it’s exploitative. It creates an uneven power dynamic and can cause so much emotional harm. If you’re an adult, act like one. Grow up. Seek relationships with people in a similar stage of life. Stop normalizing grooming and predatory behavior toward vulnerable young people.
Age only starts to “matter less” once both people have fully developed emotionally and neurologically - once the brain has matured. If you’re 60, dating someone who’s 40 or 80 is just a matter of compatibility. But when one person is still growing into adulthood, age ABSOLUTELY MATTERS.
