Lonely

Being lonely is like a silent room, Where shadows stretch and fill the air, A hollow space, a coming doom, A burden that the heart must bear. It's like a ship lost on the sea, No compass guiding, no clear shore, Adrift in vast immensity, Forever searching, wanting more. A garden where no flowers… read more

I’m laughing so hard… Edited by the ship’s chef where I work 😆—he said that since I’m the only single person on the ship, I spend too much time looking for pearls

Tree

When I think about transience and what remains behind us, I always remember this thought: Let the body in the ground be a grain, and let the soul move into a tree... into the silence of its rings. Look around you. We live in a world where, like a woven spiderweb, all faces and all names have become… read more

When The Mind calls the Heart to a meeting.

Mind: I want to discuss a matter that is of critical importance to you and me. It concerns our host. It has come to my attention that you exert a great amount of influence upon our host. Scammer tactics

Working on a ship ✔️ Can’t do video calls ✔️ Video call lasts only 8 seconds ✔️ Parents have passed away ✔️ Orphan ✔️ Only child ✔️ Needs the supervisor’s permission to take leave ✔️ Needs a guarantor ✔️ Asks for your bank account number and a copy of your ID ✔️ Congratulations! 🎉 You’ve just… read more

Someone please ship him a compass. And hopefully he knows how to use it. 😆🤭

The inevitable course...

Nursing a terminally ill person who is dearest to you is like being on a ship that's heading straight on a collision course with a giant iceberg. You know it won't survive and will sink but you stay till the end. You want but can't change the direction. And then the inevitable happens. You go down… (edited) read more

ODYSSEY thoughts

OMG. I thought I was going to die on that ship with them, the imagery, the camera action, the acting...so first class. I was channeling my inner historian/archaeologist with this fit 😂🌬🌊🛶 (edited)

Back Home In Derry

In 1803 we sailed out to sea Out from the sweet town of Derry For Australia bound if we didn't all drown The marks of our fetters we carried In the rusty iron chains we cried for our wean's Our good women we left in sorrow As the main sails unfurled, our curses we hurled At the English and thoughts… read more

A beautiful view from the ship Dublin

…

I feel lost… as if I’ve lost my sense of direction, like a ship that needs its captain. I have lost my father forever. Extreme weather caused our ship to lose control. Our captain is nowhere to be found—he left the crew and the navigator behind. Now we have docked on an island, an uninhabited… read more

Gold Ship

I brought an Galaxy S20+

I got an older version of Samsung Galaxy. The last flag ship phone that had external storage, because now corporate wants everyone to buy online storage and charge you a brand new liver for it. I'm not falling for it. There's an easy fix for this and that's an 1TB SD card for extra storage. I… read more

Dispelling The Myth America Has A Short History

When people from other countries claim that the United States has a short or limited history, what they often mean is that the European chapter of American history is relatively new. That perspective reflects a very Eurocentric lens that begins its timeline at the moment of colonization and erases… read more

Sooo... I did a little project illustrating a mythology book. It's was for a present. Here are the pictures, and brief descriptions of the stories. 1. Creation of the world. He-god and she-god "mix their waters" and thus begins creation of the universe. Male god represents ground water, female god… read more
