I've tried i think a lot of sushi joints within NRW, some are chain sushi places like okini yumini, noori, moki moki, sakura, plenty of generalistic buffets.

The main issue is consistency, ive rarely had the same experience when it comes to quality. To be frank, I can make sushi just as good by getting salmon from metro ( that's where they get it from, Nordic fish farm ).

But it does take a lot of time, and when with friends, its not as enjoyable to be in the kitchen all the time.

So far, the one with highest consistency ive seen is hot iron in dusseldorf. They are a sushi and Korean grill place, so that's very nice.

Id like to know if anyone else had good recommendations.
