I pulled the ace of swords upright- time to start a new thing in my life. Interestingly enough it was floated to move to a new lo ation for the company I'm with currently. Perhaps I should pursue it, cast off the issues I've been having lately

Finally had a chance to unbox my new deck that arrived this week and goodness is she gorgeous! I mean I knew that she would be. I already own the Major Arcana only version.... But this expansion is just absolutely stunning. I can't wait to familiarize myself with her and see how she speaks to me.

So today I went ahead and used my empress deck. For those that dont know Empress decks are more freeform in card meanings. There isnt a set card suits and meaning. For example mine is a bunch of dnd stuff

I pulled The Construct and the Plant. The Construct represents domination and submission, being assertive and definite in boundaries, goals, etc. But also about letting go of some this that control and just letting things go the way they do

The Plant represents productivity via responsibility, time,  and commitment but also stagnation and feeling ensnared. Sometimes to truly grow you gotta pull away from the routine and pursue new things

Downloaded a tarot app i used to use all the time in my old phone. Trying out the different spreads, and the chakra analysis spread stood out to me.  

Each card says what can be done for each Chakra to be more aligned,  and it reminded me of things i already know but haven't implemented in my life yet. The gentle reminders help build my self confidence. 


The reading really helped me get back in to my rhythm,  i know I'm highly capable, i just need to start opening myself up to community support instead of feeling like i have to grow in isolation.

New to Tarot

Was at the beach and shuffled my cards until these fell out,  the first being the four of fire.  After the last week (month)  i had,  it was spot on.  I've felt a rebirth,  a metamorphosis,  and it simply validated where i am in my journey.  I love the idea that the universe slaps the cards out of my hands in a playful way,  rather than just shuffling and picking a card when my gut days this one and this one.  Playing with the universe brings me joy. 

I'm following my joy and what is fun to me,  done doing what's expected or wanted from others. Coming in to my own new self feels empowering and exciting. 🌻🧚🏾‍♀️

So a few nights ago I was shuffling my new deck of tarot cards. Well while I was shuffling them three cards fell out of the deck so I decided to go ahead and see what they mean.
