What 16 personality type is Thomas?

Thomas from "Son Adam / The Last Man" could be analyzed as an INTJ personality type. INTJs, often referred to as "The Architects" or "The Masterminds," are known for their strategic thinking, independence, and a strong vision for the future.

In the film, Thomas demonstrates a future-oriented mindset, showcasing his ability to plan and strategize in a chaotic and uncertain environment. He is likely to exhibit traits of analytical thinking, as he evaluates situations logically and seeks to understand the larger implications of his actions in a dystopian world. His independent nature is evident, as he often prefers to rely on his own insights rather than conforming to group opinions, aligning with the INTJ's tendency to value personal competence over social acceptance.

Moreover, Thomas's determination and resilience in the face of adversity exemplify the INTJ's typical drive to achieve their goals, regardless of obstacles. His internal focus, combined with a desire for efficiency and effectiveness, could also manifest in his interactions with others—perhaps leading to a perception of him as aloof or distant, another common INTJ trait.

Ultimately, Thomas's character embodies the INTJ archetype, driven by a quest for knowledge and a commitment to overcoming challenges with a strategic, forward-thinking approach. This analysis distinctly underscores how his personality aligns with the traits of an INTJ.

Which Enneagram Type is Thomas?

Thomas from "Son Adam / The Last Man" can be analyzed as a 5w6, which combines the traits of the Type 5 (the Investigator) with the influence of the Type 6 (the Loyalist).

As a Type 5, Thomas embodies a deep curiosity and a thirst for knowledge. He often seeks solitude to explore his thoughts and engage with ideas, reflecting an analytical and observant nature. This need for autonomy and understanding drives his actions and decisions throughout the narrative. He tends to retreat into his mind during stressful situations, gathering information and assessing the world around him without becoming overtly involved.

The wing 6 adds an additional layer of caution and reliability to his character. This manifests in his need for security and support, making him more attuned to potential dangers in his environment. He may exhibit loyalty towards those he trusts, reinforcing his introverted investigative nature with a sense of commitment and responsibility. There may also be moments of anxiety as he grapples with fear of the unknown, which can lead to hesitance in taking risks unless he feels adequately prepared.

Overall, Thomas’s personality as a 5w6 reflects a blend of intellectual depth, cautious observation, and a desire for security, painting a complex picture of a character navigating a world fraught with danger while striving to understand and respond to it thoughtfully. This combination ultimately drives his journey as he confronts both external challenges and his internal landscape.
