Goodness
How do we know we are good or bad? It is a complicated question to start with, so perhaps we can benefit from defining our terms in their essence. The simplest description I have been able to create in relation to evil, or being bad, is intentional harm done to the innocent. If we abstain from intentionally harming the innocent, does that mean we are good? Or, is goodness a step beyond inaction into action. Inaction, as it were, is often considered a bad thing, such as the inaction of certain people during this genocide or that. Goodness therefore must be beyond inaction. So how do we define goodness? Is it giving? Perhaps it is the effort made without expectation of reward. Perhaps, in a similar vein to the evil definition, it is intentional support or help given to all. I’d love to hear other thoughts.

Since I believe morality is objective, then good is obedience to the moral law, and evil is the violation of it. I think "love" (in the Greek "agape" sense of the word) is at the center of the moral law. For instance, you would not steal, lie, murder, or cheat if you loved everyone as yourself. Furthermore, you wouldn't even entertain the thought if you genuinely loved others, by reason of which it can also be evil to merely entertain it, but not do. To be good is to love others perfectly, is evil is to not love.

The law is good (Tim. 1-8). Everything ordained by TMH, for His people to follow, is good (albeit not always for the other nations). One rule example I like to think of that of abstaining from adultery/whoemongering: just off this one commandment, followed, there would be no STDs, no single parent households/broken homes, no crimes of passion, more discipline and respect for ourselves and our people; which has loads of implications for ripple effect. The law is true Love; and strived, will get one closer to good, and get God's people closer to Him; and ultimately closer to Justice; Justice for His people.

You are talking about morality and there is a ton of literature on that, people thought about this problem for thousands of years. Your take on morality seems to be the "well beeing"-approach combined with intentionality. I think, both things have huge problems. Intentions don't really matter, if you look at certain examples, it's the consequences that matter. And "well-beeing" is not really well defined and leads to strange conclusions on morality.

The glory of original thoughts. Most people spend their days parroting opinions, phrases and lifestyles. They can live without having a single original thought. An assembly line product, a machine with a memory chip. Embrace the gift of creation. Have your own thoughts! (edited)

In Frank Herbert's 'Dune',
the phrase: "He who can destroy a thing, controls a thing" is a powerful and often misunderstood statement. It highlights the idea that true control lies not in mere possession, but in the capacity to influence and ultimately eliminate a thing.

Be yourself
Life is so much easier when you stop being the person you think others want you to be and just be who you are People can tell when you're pretending to be someone you're not and they don't like it It might be cliche to say just be yourself, but it's cliche for a reason

Question.
Do you think a small, beautiful moment can be more meaningful than a lifetime of grand achievements? Personally, I think one small perfect moment would be better then anything even if it's a fraction of a moment but I mean lots of perfect beautiful moments exist if you look at the world right. But... read more

The natural world is so beautiful but...
Our perspective is now trapped in the artificial world, that we don't even raise our head and see the beautiful world. Why should you take the high road?
I’m sure we’ve all felt the temptation to be petty when we believe we’ve been wronged. I know I have—and I’ve given in to it before. But there’s a deeper reason to take the high road, and it’s not just to feel morally superior. The way you treat others reveals what you expect from them—and what... read more
