Her legacy lives on through the numerous awards and honors she received throughout her career, including the Austrian Cross of Merit for Science and Art, which was awarded to her in 1957. Alma Seidler is remembered as one of Austria's most talented actresses, and as a fighter who refused to let the oppressive forces of her time stifle her love for her craft. In her later years, Alma lived a quiet life in Vienna until her death on January 11, 1977, at the age of 77.
