Nothing cooler than being able to restore some old tech to working order and watching it work. This is a old GPX portable TV AMFM radio lantern kit. Black and white  CRT screen. Had to fix the power circuits and the input jacks. Because it was made back in 2005 It can only receive analog signals. Since we switched over to digital signals I had to bust out my old Digital to analog converter, RCA cables, and my spare Roku Stick. But it works! I even plugged my PS5 and played some GTA online! Too bad it's a 5 inch by 5 inch screen 🤣.  In this clip I'm watching the beginning to Bad Boys II. 🤣😅

Niente è più figo che riuscire a ripristinare un po' di tecnologia vecchia in stato di funzionamento e vederla in azione. Questo è un vecchio kit di lanterna radio TV portatile GPX AMFM. Schermo CRT in bianco e nero. Ho dovuto sistemare i circuiti di alimentazione e le prese di ingresso. Poiché è stato realizzato nel 2005, può ricevere solo segnali analogici. Dato che siamo passati ai segnali digitali, ho dovuto tirare fuori il mio vecchio convertitore da digitale ad analogico, i cavi RCA e il mio Roku Stick di riserva. Ma funziona!
