Great Mind (A lil something I wrote)

Einstein in disguise, with a mind that likes to write. Despised by the likes, the ones who are dumb founded at times. I write my genius in lines so the words stand the test of time. As I test my will to survive, the soul holds to the thread of life Like a fine needle, a stitch to be alive. So in the near future if do survive, I'll look back at this, relish, Bask in the light and a hint of smile. I've been through demise, I've been through the lies. I have binged all the trauma in a night. I can let out the air but I fear the words get clogged in the wind pipe. Act surprised, cat got my tongue? The words are just so heavy for my mouth it's like an exercise. Hence I write In verses what I can't describe, what's inside, that I was meant to hide. I define my troubled mind in metaphors coz that's how I hide the pain in plain sight. Don't abide by emotions, to me they're just a notion I do express them in poems, so every little depiction is influenced by non-verbal act that has me feeling what if? my mental state is broken by unspoken words. I can feel it in the air (ear) but there is no way to force it, but my only way to acknowledge it is through rhymes that's how I'm so prolific and fluent when I write so you might need a great mind to analyze mine. -zayr.
