The best way for me to calm down is to remove myself from the situation temporarily by taking a walk. During that walk I find ways to center my racing thoughts around the problem versus the emotion itself. Being angry at the problem is so much more productive than being angry with the person.

Well at this point of life for me, why even bother getting worked up over a thing that's momentary. Frustrated maybe irritated is about the level of mad I guess I'd achieve. Always address the situation head on rather than letting "Mad" build up inside you. Don't let it gain space in your head to rent. ... I'm on the green side of the dirt. It could be worse #smile
