This weekend's movies:
Villains (2019) - Not bad. Silly fun twist on home invasion style movies. - 6/10 The Naked Gun (2025) - Laughed quite a bit and was surprised they could pull off a modern "airplane" style movie. However some of the jokes definitely didn't land. - 7/10 Predator: Killer of Killers - If you like… (edited) read more

The Devil in Me
The Devil in Me was the most boring entry in The Dark Pictures Anthology for me. It had some good ideas, but overall it felt slow, predictable, and not very engaging. My least favorite game in the series.

Recent Reads
Just finished this anthology. The one story that really stuck with me was Primitive by Vera Starbard. She does such a great job with the repetition of the word throughout the story and then turning it around at the end! I'm not really doing justice in explaining what I mean but gosh, the way she… read more

If you haven't checked out this anthology you are missing out. I love the concept of having multiple animation studios make short animations that range from funny, wild, trippy, horryifying, and wonderful.

Anyone a fan of the V/H/S anthology series?
If so what are your thoughts on the latest release? I found it to be decent enough. About on par with last year's Beyond, if not a bit better. (edited)

A Christmas Horror Story
Your first impression of A Christmas Horror Story may not be positive. It's not an indie movie, but you can tell they didn't have a big budget. William Shatner is the biggest star in the cast.
