My darker emotions needed a safe place today

So I gave it a piece of art to rest in ❤️ This is going to be one of my more intense pieces I always knew I'd be doing surrealism as an artist when I fell in love with the painting by Dali as a teenager

Medieval warrior princess inspired

New piece I started :) Mix of animated style and some surrealism I do really like Dali, after all ;)

Dali

...

The dream is real and reality is a dream. I don't know what's what anymore. I feel like I'm in a dali painting, where my thoughts are not mine, they're whirling around unreachable, unidentifiable. There's nothing to hold on to and the continuous sensation of falling keeps eating its way from the… read more

Dali and the passing of time

I absolutely love surrealism in art, especially in paintings. I also love Dali, his beautiful madness, his oneiric universes. His art inspired this drawing.

Migi and Dali

Watched this one and I thought I'll be laughing all the way to the end but bro the end got me crying like a baby 🥺

Just a thought

I fully understand that not everyone will be a match. I actually like differences. I don't want a woman that is exactly like me. I want someone that is strong in the areas I'm not. I admire that. I dated an art major in college that dragged me to art exhibits. I thought I'd hate it. These many many… read more

Any song recommendations?

I need some upbeat music or something with a really nice beat to listen to while I work. I'm getting a bit tired listening to npr podcasts for hours. Here's some songs I have enjoyed so far. I'm looking for something catchy, so maybe this list might help give some ideas. I tend to listen to more… read more

Christmas tree symbolism in psychology

This is not mine but from Carl Jung. A famous Swedish psychiatrist of the last century. But let us not forget that the total combination, the lighted and decorated tree, is also found outside Christ's nativity and in non Christian contexts. For instance, in alchemy, that well-known reservoir for… read more

Dali

My redflag is...

Whenever i see a painting or something, i think "i could make it, for sure". Like, I believe that i can draw or paint the same thing i see. Van Gogh? Of course. Dali? Sure. Da Vinci? Easy peasy (But i don't actually do it because I'm too lazy... Also, don't have enough money for materials 😭)

Surrealism

This started off as a pencil/colorpencil drawing and then I updated it on my iPad, with ProCreate. It definitely has a Dali and Manga vibe:)
