Been playing around with some grayscale markers the past couple days! My therapist wants me to work on not being a perfectionist so I'm working on it through doodles everyday! Anyone else use art for therapy?

I'm currently working on the illustrations for my next book, so the old ones will have to do for now. I never made a digital version of this, but would love to do that someday soon. Maybe it'll end up in a hardcover edition 🤔

A thing about highly attractive people is that they  are afraid to let it go. It restricts them at certain points. Not all but many, at a certain point for a certain time being or longer. 

I have observed online that highly attractive influencers, when undertaking a Halloween costume “challenges” or deliberating upon their costume choices, invariably maintain a baseline, irrespective of their chosen muse; their inherent allure remains consistent.

Let's say, be it an imitation of Bibble from Barbie, Captain Jack Sparrow, ring master, snow white, Queen of hearts, etc, The ensembles, invariably, descend into a monotonous cadence. Repetitive essence, corsets, accessories, knee length fur boots or heels, thigh length skirt or shorts, cosmetics that retain an aesthetic appeal.

Nothing wrong with this if that's what they prefer, now in my humble opinion that I do not impose on anyone or expect them to adhere to that, as I said above, it's restrictive.
It lacks creative exploration. I understand that some people don't want to.
I'm not slut shaming anyone, it's lack of creativity while chest thumping “creativity” that annoys me. 

Specifically, in the digital sphere, it proves unfeasible. The dynamics of demand and supply necessitate adaptation to incentives, fiscal, social or attention oriented. 

I would refrain from being crass to such persons who choose to do so, motivations of all artists can be comprehensible. Irrespective to their position on the spectrum from the one who chops off his ear piece to someone who becomes a commercially driven one.

However, to me, once stuck within this cycle, artistic integrity invariably diminishes.
There exists no inherent fault being the person I described above; I merely express my desire to admit that they could succumb to loss of exploration, or prioritizing mass or return appeal more, and they should accept it than being pretentious. 

I can't appreciate it. It looks as if the person is stuck in the loop of appreciation from people that aren't even honest to themselves, and abandon their own artistic integrity for that.

One might suspect me harboring envy for individuals receiving social validation or “you're jealous of pretty people being pretty” quite simply, can't care less, their prettiness exerts no influence upon my person. 

I like Gaga for that. She's unhinged. But she doesn't abandon her artistry, partly because she incentivises it and gets the return, which many artists, no matter how great, don't. 


I think that all artits are performative to a certain degree. I think most artists, intentionally or unintentionally turn mythic, in self perception or by outer perception.

Artists become performance art.

Eros and Godesses of destiny: by Julius Kronberg is, so far, my life’s favorite. The emotion, story, and visual power. It’s like it understands complexity without having to explain it, which is probably why it feels personal to me. There’s also something comforting about that kind of resonance. It’s a reminder that even in the messiness of life—loss, love, choices, responsibility—there’s a place where all those threads intersect, and they can be held in one frame without judgment.
