How is it that we work so hard all month, only for the salary to hit the account and disappear almost instantly?

I'm new here and what financial advice would you give me 😊

First an assumption: where I live it is common to tip 10% of the total bill i restaurants or Cafe.

Thought Experiment:
Two people sitting in a restaurant (in two different table). One is ordering a glass of wine which cost $10, the other is ordering a bottle of wine which cost $40.
Assuming the comment tipping is 10% the first person will pay $1 while the other one will pay $4.
In both cases, all the waiter did was to go to the bar get the drinks from the bar tender to the table.
My 2 cents:
1. Tipping (if at all...) should be on the service provided and the value of products.
I think in some countries in Europe it is common to just round the bill which is much more reasonable.

2. Why do we tipping in restaurants but not other proffessions? We don't tip or doctors, we don't tip at the supermarket and in the Cinema.

According to recently released data by SEBI, Indians invested a record 32,000 Crore+ in SIP despite NIFTY touching 22000s level in March.

And the trend has continued to be the same for the last 3 months with averaging over 30,000 crore+ monthly. Comparing it with 2025 and 2024 over the same month, it grew by about 14.8% and 55.5% respectively.

And the new SIP investors count is also touching an all time high of, although during March-April the number of people closing their SIP and the ones opening new account remains almost same (almost 0 net increase), the overall people doing sip has increased to a staggering 10.44 crore from 8.45 crore last year (an increase of about 24% YoY).

What are your opinion on this? Is this just some new enthusiasts joining the market and riding the momentum and would fade away soon, or is this indication of something deeper? Of people understanding that dips and highs are part of market cycles and thus continuing their investments
