My apartment - as cool as it is - needs some sort of houseplant to make things more cozy. I'm a complete newbie when it comes to this sort of thing and want to know what might work best. I've attached a picture of where I'd like this small houseplant to go - preferably on the right side of my TV stand. Thoughts?

I'm not an expert but I'll just say you'll need a tiny plant, because the room would look too tiny with a bigger one. Or many succulents cause they're really cute. (Usually big leaves lead to a more modern look) (Flowers make it look cozier) -all I know is from 10k hours of designing houses in Sims so take this with a grain of all spices possible.
