I was clearing out my storage unit and I found this Epiphone in there, it was given to me seven or so years ago by the eminent master luthier Jim Poisson. I shelved it since I didn't have the skills to fix it up at the time. Now I'm gonna make it my stage guitar. Hopefully that nasty split will disappear nicely. Final pic is a progress photo, electronics done.

Want Song recommendations

I'm looking for a fixed bridged 6 string electric guitar mostly for home practice. I would usually use it at my computer desk  in a task chair.
I was thinking about V shaped ones, like the Jackson Rhoads JS32T.  I usually play rock and metal, so it isn't important to have single coil pickups or the ability to coil tap a humbucker.
I like the 25.5" scale length of my current guitar, and also the string spacing at the bridge of a Floyd Rose trem. Compound radius is also a useful feature.
I'm of an average height at 175 cm or about 5 ft 9 in. If you have any recommendations to look at on the cheaper end of well known brands, that would be welcome.
