To be honest, changing your strings every 2 months if you play often is careless. Then again I know an amateur guitarist with a Fender Jazzmaster who told me he only tunes his guitar once a month and changes the strings once a year. And he plays every day 🤔

If you play your guitar often, you should be changing your strings at least once a month 😬
