Looking for older anime recommendations!

Picked up space battleship Yamamoto recently and currently watching it at the moment. I really like the older animes like cowboy bebop and gunsmith cats. Looking for some other old anime (other than dragonball and speed racer) any recommendations?

Could anybody recomend late 90s anime? Alike to Lain, evangelion or gunsmith cats?
