You wouldn't be able to show affection in the following ways: Physical touch (you wouldn't have consent), words of affirmation (you wouldn't be able to communicate them), dating (you wouldn't be able to ask them on a date), gift giving (you wouldn't know what they like and it would come off as creepy), intellectual conversation (no communication), emotional conversation (no communication), tell them you love them (no communication), and so much more. IDEK how you would ask for consent for anything to begin with if you don't speak the same language. So no, there's absolutely zero logical way it could work out

Not for love. Love comes from inside and is not related to any languages. BUT if you going to live with your love a language that both can speak will be necessary.
