One of my favourite traditions growing up, in Paris, was World Music day, which is celebrated on the summer solcite, as local musicians would perform in various areas all around the city and one of the few days we would be allowed to go out and celebrate till late, just dancing away with our friends.. 💃🏽
How nice it is to get to experience it, again, after 22 years! 🥹🥲
Plus it's a full moon 🤗🌕

Fête de la Musique 2024

Always loved Jules Verne's work growing up, and recently found out that the station remodeling was inspired by a comic artist from Belgium, named François Schuite, who himself is a fan of Jules Verne 😊

I must have been 6 or 7, when it was renovated, and remember the feeling the first time we saw it, I still react the same way, now 😅

Sometimes things just make sense.

Edit: If you're not familiar with Jules Verne this seems to have been made to look like the inside of a submarine, a bit like The Nautilus from 20'000 Leagues Under The Sea.
