Pay attention because that's them showing you who they really are so later on when you're hurt by them, they can claim to be the victim while proclaiming that they showed you who they are all along and that you knew them. This is a manipulation method often used by people with borderline personality disorder. They conceal their true nature and personality with humor while simultaneously exposing it (usually because it's the part of them that allows intrusive thoughts to heavily influence their decision making and behavior).

Sometimes we program our minds with our own words. How? Very simple!

Here's a comparison of two phrases: "I am oppressed" and "I feel oppressed." Is there a difference? At first glance, it seems like there isn't. However, these sentences have different meanings. When someone says, "I feel oppressed," he's referring to some kind of feeling. And any feeling can be changed, that is, it is possible to stop feeling oppressed.

The phrase "I am oppressed" indicates that the person has put circumstances before her/himself and is unable to change anything. Use the power of words to your advantage and always be aware of the wording you use.

Remember: you control your emotions and not vice versa.

1. Red flags usually grow over time.

That “small” thing that made you uneasy — like a controlling comment, dishonesty, lack of accountability, or emotional unavailability — can become a major issue later. Early patterns often repeat and worsen if not addressed.

2. Your intuition is speaking.

When something feels off, your body and mind are trying to protect you. Ignoring that gut feeling trains you to second-guess yourself, which weakens self-trust and makes it easier to stay in unhealthy situations longer than you should.

3. You teach others how to treat you.

When you tolerate red flags, you’re unintentionally showing that certain behaviors are acceptable — even if they’re not. Setting boundaries early protects your emotional well-being.

4. Healing means honoring your standards.

Especially when you’ve been through trauma or heartbreak, recognizing red flags is a sign of growth. Listening to those signs is a way of protecting the healed version of you — the one that knows they deserve better.

5. It saves you time, energy, and heartbreak.

The earlier you walk away from something not aligned with your values or safety, the easier it is to move forward without deep scars. Time spent hoping someone will change can be time used to find someone who doesn’t need to be fixed.

In short: Red flags are not puzzles to solve — they’re warnings to walk away. Trust them. You’re not being “too sensitive”; you’re being wise.

What happened to those who cared for you that suddenly just disappeared because of unknown mental issues 

I'm here to say that we are still there just stuck unable to progress in life because the life we used to have has caused so much pain that we can no longer take on the pain of others the way we used to. If I could go back to the ones I cared for and helped I would not because of what we used to have but because it would help me get through life against all the walls the universe put in front of me

Nie popełniamy błędów, podejmujemy decyzje, które w danym momencie wydają się nam najbardziej korzystne, bezpieczne lub dostępne. Kierujemy się tym, co czujemy, że przyniesie nam ulgę, spełnienie, uniknięcie bólu lub zaspokojenie jakiejś ważnej potrzeby. Dopiero z perspektywy czasu, kiedy coś się nie udaje, relacja się rozpada, plan się nie ziszcza, a konsekwencje zaczynają boleć, patrzymy wstecz i mówimy: „to był błąd”.

Ale czy rzeczywiście?
To, co nazywamy „błędem”, często jest po prostu decyzją podejmowaną w warunkach ograniczonej świadomości, w emocjonalnym chaosie, pod wpływem impulsu, traumy, lęku lub głodu bliskości. To była najlepsza możliwa decyzja, jaką mogliśmy podjąć na tamtym etapie siebie.

Nazywanie tego „błędem” to często próba zminimalizowania ciężaru żalu i ulżenia sobie, dania sobie jakiegoś psychicznego wyjścia awaryjnego. To także sposób, by odzyskać poczucie kontroli: jeśli to tylko „błąd”, to następnym razem możemy go uniknąć. Jeśli jednak przyznamy, że był to nasz świadomy wybór, wtedy musimy skonfrontować się z tym, co nas do niego doprowadziło, a to już wymaga odwagi, autorefleksji i często, bólu.

Warto spojrzeć na swoje „błędy” jako na lustra. One pokazują nie to, kim jesteśmy dziś, ale kim byliśmy wtedy. Jakie mieliśmy potrzeby, czego nie wiedzieliśmy, w co wierzyliśmy, kogo szukaliśmy w oczach drugiego człowieka.

Rozwijanie świadomości nie polega na eliminowaniu błędów, ale na coraz głębszym rozumieniu swoich decyzji.

Bo może to nie był błąd.
Może to była lekcja.
Może to było konieczne.
Może to był jedyny sposób, by dowiedzieć się, kim naprawdę jesteś.

So earlier I was on my way to work so I got in the bus and sat by this woman. This woman looked at my eyes as I averted my gaze cause I was creeped out and then she suddenly spoke saying you have dead eyes as she got up and exited the bus. What does it mean????
