Before the New Year arrives, I decided to ask what are some important life lessons you should have learned as a kid before becoming an adult?

Here's some of mine from experience:

-Life will have unexpected and unfair moments.
-Dwelling on your doubts does no good. Just do it, take your time, or honestly express yourself.
-Nobody's perfect and the best at everything.
-Things come and go.
-We are always taking risks, choosing, and surviving no matter the things we see and do.
-Have faith and stay true to yourself.
-You are good enough and with the things you have, and beautiful as always. You just got to do what you need to do and enjoy the little things.

Influence is typically when someone is trying to persuade you for good reasons. Perhaps you both might gain something

Manipulation - Often times are oneside. Typically, one person walks away fulfilled while using multiple people or at the cost of another person.

The difference between influence and manipulation

Just do it, don’t put that unnecessary pressure on yourself. The moment you open your mouth about it, the more eyes you’ll have on yourself (for results). 

Make a mistake (or backslide) and I can guarantee this will hurt your motivation because of said pressure. If kept secret, only you would know of the backslide and errors. This giving yourself unlimited chances in private. 

Only reveal it when you actually start getting results because, then, you have the evidence to back it up. By the time you’ve revealed it, you’ve most likely developed a solid foundation and consistency. In other words, your goal wasn’t in vain and just empty words.

I believe trauma is the equivalent of soaking our senses in lighter fluid and then throwing a lit match on them i base this on my very first memory It is of 4 white masked white clad giants holding md down while a 5th one stabbed me in ass with a needle i was not yet 2 years old i had surgery at aboot 20 months old my mother confirmed for me since that day I remember every single experience and every traumatic experience after that heightened my senses even more I didn't make this connection for a long time until recently in fact now I'm so traumatized by my life experiences I'm in a constant state of fight or flight this is as heightened of a state as I believe human beings can be i didn't understand for a long time while being around other people made me so emotional and on edge because I don't have any emotions except in the presence of other people so called psychics call people like me empaths I'm not an empath I don't really care about any one at all or myself I just don't care I'm good at mimicking emotions though it is not any thing paranormal let's call it traumatic conditioning thats more scientific sounding right I to such a degree as to be mostly subconscious pick up on the subtle cues humans are unable to hide some of these tells let's call them are so imperceptible that even machines designed to spot them can miss them and I won't its why no one will play poker with me any more it's why i scare people and they never stick around with me I'm not looking for sympathy or feeling sorry for myself I would not change my life or want to be any one else even if I could most ability to grow and evolve to become self aware involves acceptance what would being angry or feeling guilty about past bad behavior by myself or others do but stifle my ability to move beyond those moments if you get traumatized what does reliving that trauma over and over again as the person you were in those moments really doing if not paralyzing you from moving beyond those moments instead look at what those moments can teach you so you can prevent them from happening to you ever again so I have stated many times that life is so we can feel all the things human bodies and minds are capable of sure that means love happiness and pleasure but also pain sadness and loss we can't have the ones without the others for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction this applies in physics but we don't except that principle in emotions and feelings so for all matter there is anti matter but positive and negative feeling have no corelation now that's just nonsense so I hope this was beneficial I am very sorry for the lack of punctuation I never had much of a formal education I lived i didn't study other people's experiences then charge people and make them defer to my knows nothing of what you are experiencing opinion to even claim to know what other people feel and experience in moments you have never been within the same galaxy of to me screams narcisism wich last i checked in the psychology books was classified as a mental disorder and personality flaw so the inmates are running the asylum and we wonder why things have gotten to this point

This book has been helpful both from a clinical application perspective working with schizophrenia in IOP, but also from a personal and philosophical perspective. This book references LACAN which I absolutely adore.

In fact, sometimes I wonder why people are so 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐩𝐢𝐝 It's not because they don't know something, and I don't think it's right to call a person "𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐲" because they just don't know something.

 They may not know something only because they didn't have the opportunity, or because they were not interested in it in their life, or because they didn't hear about it (no one in their environment told them about it), or whatever. 

No, people are 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐝𝐮𝐦𝐛, they just behave irrationally, their actions and words are simply 𝐢𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 and 𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥.

And what else is not irrational? - 𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 and 𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. People have and experience these emotions and feelings, so they are "𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭".

I discussed Gloomtrollers in a post two days ago, and this image perfectly illustrates the kind of behavior that is not welcome on B00.

Anyone who engages in such negative behavior and attacks others does not belong on this platform. If you wish to behave in this manner, I suggest you look elsewhere. I would like to commend the woman who was targeted by this individual; she handled herself with grace, and kudos to her for her poise.

To the Gloomtroller, I encourage you to find a sense of humor. Negative behavior and personal attacks are not acceptable here. I have noticed this same individual targeting others in a similar manner, and I want to reiterate that these attitudes are not welcome on B00.
