What is the most important characteristic of being human?

When you feel close to someone, protective and or feel enamoured by a person.

You want to be open and if you feel you can trust them enough you are truthful.

But what if you tell them you love them?

Alot of people tend to pull away as we as humans find it hard to accept a sudden love confession, maybe it's not what they expected from the person, maybe it's not what they wanted.

Telling someone you love them at an early stage means one of two things:

They are so emotionally insecure and attached to any kindness as see it as affection, or they not sure what love is.

There are occasions when it's truthful but for the person hearing it, it can be completely overwhelming and degrees of mistrust arise.

It also adds a burden to them and they will never see you in the same light and will wonder if every action or remark you make is because of this affection even if you blow it off as nothing.

You will still feel those feelings but if that person doesn't feel the same way you need to give up hope of it ever being something and never bring it up again.
You will feel the urge to and feel hope that maybe they will come around, but they won't and you lose what could have been a good friendship over your desires.

It's not fair on them.

I discussed Gloomtrollers in a post two days ago, and this image perfectly illustrates the kind of behavior that is not welcome on B00.

Anyone who engages in such negative behavior and attacks others does not belong on this platform. If you wish to behave in this manner, I suggest you look elsewhere. I would like to commend the woman who was targeted by this individual; she handled herself with grace, and kudos to her for her poise.
