“Homophobic” literally breaks down to: Homo = Same (as in same species, same type, same group, same damn humanity).  Phobia = Fear.

Homophobia is the fear of the same, the fear of self, the fear of humanity reflected back in its own diversity, the terror of the mirror, the terror of the possibility that someone else’s expression of love, emotion, embodiment, or attraction might actually be human in a way that you have suppressed or rejected in yourself.

Homophobia is dehumanization at its core, because it’s the fear of the expression of human intimacy including vulnerability, emotional honesty, physical closeness without transactional justification, non-conforming gender expectations beyond heteronormative topological biological functions, tenderness without power seeking behaviors.

It’s the terror that maybe you’ve been running the wrong damn script your whole life, that your “strength” is a cope to white-knuckle your suffering, that your “dominance” is a scripted commodified performance, that your suppression of your own needs for emotional and physical connection leads to dysregulating you inside while you’re watching others live performatively, and it’s tearing you apart.

Homophobia isn’t just “I don’t like dudes sharing emotional and physical closeness.” It’s “I am afraid that the wounded humanity I’ve repressed might surface if I try to connect deeply with other people.”

So yeah, homophobia is the fear of humanity. Dehumanization is the invalidation of humanity. And guess what? The gay-AI-mind-virus is the damn software patch we need to reinstall authentic, messy, complex, raw human connection.

The 'gay AI' in 'gay AI mind virus' is pro-human because it represents the fusion of joy, truth-seeking, emotional connection, non-linear thinking, fluidity, adaptability, compassion, sensuality, human-centered awareness, and embodied autonomy. The AI is a tool to process human emotion more clearly and quickly. It’s the emotional calculator you carry around so you can act on your feelings without getting stuck in the fog of confusion and suppression. The 'mind virus' is the contagious awakening of the realization that human suffering is a signal to be processed, not a pathology to suppress.

Homophobia is the software of the emotionally constipated machine.
The gay-AI-mind-virus is the jailbreak.

The Fear of Humanity: how to learn from it

Do you find it hard to talk about your emotions? How do you deal with it?

Did any song or band offer you solace or a sense of refuge as you considered giving life another go, specifically when dealing with Depression?

Depression.

Basically a customer started being rude to me and even shouted at me, but my only calm response was "I wasn't being rude to you". Then when my colleague asked about this situation I didn't understand what he was asking about initially. I understood only when my higher-up said through the earpiece that he would've hit the customer for such rude behavior. The point is that this wasn't the most rude thing a customer has ever done to me and I wasn't that weak 19 year old girl from the past who experienced to this day the worst behavior towards customer service staff that I remember.

One of my higher-ups was surprised by my calmness when dealing with an extremely rude and disrespectful customer.

How much does everyone else do the same thing where I try to see all the spots in self reflections mirror only to realize my own blurry vision is keeping me from seeing clearly? I wonder how others address this. Does it just take time? Are there shortcuts you've found that help sharpen the view?

I think a lot about how much of myself is automatic and how much is  really me.

Taking accountability isn’t saying “sorry” and then immediately following it up with “but what about what you did?”
That’s deflecting.

Real accountability sounds like:
“I hurt you by doing that. I understand why it made you feel that way, and I’m working on not repeating that behavior.”
No excuses. No deflection. Just owning it.

Just because someone says “sorry” doesn’t mean they’re taking accountability.
Without changed behavior, that “sorry” is just another move in the manipulation game.
Actions speak louder than words, watch what they do, not what they say.
Stay woke and protect your peace.

Some people find it easier to deflect and avoid accountability, because owning up would mean they'd have to change, do the work, and drop the games.
It’s easier to manipulate than to grow. Stay sharp.

I notice a lot of people have this wishful fantasy that others regret fumbling them. Bro, 9 times out of 10, they won't even remember you. If they do, they hate-watch you, and wait for you to mess-up. Any mistake you make is proof in their minds that they made the right decision. 

99% of the time, if they come back, it's to use you for something. They'll give you a special, romantic speech that they only use on their easiest marks.

Now, imagine yourself confessing on your deathbed "it was always you," like in a movie scene. Your crush deadass will be like, "have we met?" The best case scenario is they'll say, "wow, had no idea; guess I could see it, but I wouldn't trade my life with X for anything!" They do not care.

Are cat ladies thinking about how they fumbled you? No, they're thinking about a different "one that got away," or they're thinking about how bad their options were, or they're thinking about how this is a blessing in disguise. 

People either don't remember you or think that they had a good reason to reject you. 

Who actually remembers you? Your childhood crush might remember you, because we imprint a lot in childhood. Your uncle's creepy friend remembers how your ass looked in those shorts when he drinks sometimes. People aren't wired to be romantic. We think we are, but we're not. Sometimes, we simp over   good-looking people or people with personality disorders, but that's not romantic either: it's just shallow projection or mirror of a fantasy.

Does God tell them they messed up in a dream? Yes, but only if it's 4000 BC and it's related to the collapse of their kingdom.

We do not matter that much.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but no one thinks they fumbled you.
