Seriously!!! They are always squirming and have to be doing SOMETHING😅 atleast they are cute💚 (esp the last one, its the only half decent photo of him😭)

How do you get good photos of them?!?!

I know I've posted here before about my rats. I just haven't been on enough to update everyone about what's happened. Unfortunately three of my "grandbabies" died one day shy of turning 6 weeks old. Then, without warning, their momma died on Saturday. I buried her and two of her babies tucked together. Unfortunately one of them i wasn't able to recover because rats will be rats. 

Rest in peace Cheddar, Pork, Sync and Scar.

I became a grandma last night unexpectedly

As an ex animal rescuer I once got a call about a rat getting pregnant and the owners not knowing this. So shen she had her babies, the owner freaked out and asked me to take care of them until they are old enough to do things on their own. Aren't they so cute?🥰 They are now all about 1 year old

This is my newest rat that I just took in as of today. Her name is Holly. She was given to me by a woman who was looking to rehome her after a month. She had been bitten multiple times and she also attacked her sister (rat). She screams when you put her hand near her and bit when I put her into her new temporary enclosure. I was given her in a plastic storage container. She didn't have any food or water in with her either. The lid was also taped shut. The red is baby food that I had smeared to tempt her to try and eat something. She also may be pregnant. 

Wish me luck on taming her. If anyone has any tips I'd much appreciate it as well.
