All rats are very different, and each has its own special character. I have two rats, and they behave like real personalities, their characters are very different. Rodya is calm and likes to be stroked. He may be offended if you washed him, and he will turn his booty to you on purpose and will not play. Max is very active and rarely allows himself to be stroked, he can start hissing if he gets offended when you take away his delicious headphones. I really love rats <3

I can't think of a name for my drawing, many people say it's anxious art , I wanted to achieve this effect

Back in the old days, the ratties I used to have - and through the years, I had many of them - always reached the age of at least 4 years old.
Nowadays, the average age is 2,5 (although one of my oldies, who passed away a month ago, reached the, nowadays, almost unbelievable age of 3,5 !)
Many ratties nowadays suffer from tumors when they get a little older. It's so shocking.
I guess humans caused this, we all know why (....) 

I fervently hope that one day a breeder will discover rats with a certain gene, which will make these wonderful, fantastic pets last longer.  They are too cute, sweet and intelligent to have such short lives...
