A Kushy Poem

Unfurling Unfurling unto the world both ancient and new A light in the darkness, mists in the dew A glimmer in the void, shadows long to find This light in my chest, this light that's mine A light in the mist Bathes in shadows that twist Darknesses encroach Endevouring beyond reproach To smother… read more

What I'd Say Ray Charles *shortened

For day 266 of year 4's dancing, I decided to choose five songs that I would deem as masterpieces in their own rights (not in the classical sense of the word). Happy Masterpiece Monday! I also made today makeup free Monday.

My very first graphical art endeavor from years ago.

This represents my Inner child I preserved and hid from the world but not myself, Guiding me the Tiny Warrior Through the illusory soul school and testing ground we can life or the human experience. I tried to create the Hermetic " As above so below, as within so without" while hinting at multiple… (edited) read more

Dolly Parton Has Died

Hit me really hard when I found out. She was a ray of light in a time filled with pessimism, chaos, and untrustworthy leaders and role models. She did so many great things for others and the community. It makes me sad to see the worst of the worst stick around for what feels like forever while the… read more

Alexa, play Lana Del Ray

Good morning!

Gloomy with a ray of sunshine, good metaphor for life currently. Look forward to what comes next. Be positive. The gloom doesn't last forever.

Happy 6th Birthday to my Luchador cat

Time has flown by, but she’s still that same tiny force of nature. She still stomps everywhere, smacks every ray of sunshine to let them know who’s boss, and stalks into the room at the mere click of a laser pointer. I’m thankful for her fearless personality—from her daredevil stunts to her… read more

Shiba Inu’s Afternoon

Sharing a ray of soft sunset light, the main character is half calm and half yawning.

She's made of sunlight.

A ray of light

I sit in the silence

I sit in the silence and learn not to reach for words. The raven is silent. And yet I remember how it could be light. Like a ray of sunlight brushing worries from my face. I bloomed before you, defenseless as morning. I let you see what I usually hide the deepest. Your last glance breathed… read more

Happiness 😊😊😊

Happiness is the morning light, Soft and warm, so calm and bright. It blooms within a caring heart, In every smile, it plays a part. It's found in laughter shared with friends, In quiet moments that never end. Not measured by riches or fame, But by love that stays the same. It rises after storms… read more

Missing pieces

I thought the pieces of the puzzle worked or maybe they did for a good while but eventually the parts grew in different ways, the parts that fit didn't match up together anymore. A book about today...

Did you know there is a short story by Ray Bradbury in which story takes place 4-5 august 2026? It's called "There will come soft rains" and it's a philosophical sci-fi story. Someone pointed this story out to me, so I've read it (took less than an hour on the bus, it's a really short story), and… read more

Big O

Is anyone else going to get the Blu ray when it drops again? It's supposed to have English and Japanese audio. Just wish they would give the release date

"The best of possible worlds" by Ray Bradbury

This short story made me think. I can be an amazing person in all ways but nobody I like will be interested in me. To each its own. I'm nobody's.

Keep a distance between us; I am poor

Nikola Tesla

Nature may reach the same result in many ways. Like a wave in the physical world, in the infinite ocean of the medium which pervades all, so in the world of organisms, in life, an impulse started proceeds onward, at times, may be, with the speed of light, at times, again, so slowly that for ages… read more

Tree

When I think about transience and what remains behind us, I always remember this thought: Let the body in the ground be a grain, and let the soul move into a tree... into the silence of its rings. Look around you. We live in a world where, like a woven spiderweb, all faces and all names have become… read more
