People invent stories for all sort of reasons, for protection, privacy, embarrassment, a desire to be left alone.

When people feel cornered, exposed or judged, fabricating a story become their shield to protect their peace, dignity and well-being. If it does not come out of malice, do you think it is morally or ethically justified? 💭 (edited)
