At the WV ren faire, I work with the viking shield wall group known as the Misfits. This was a shot of our tournament as I won the semi final, dual weilding swords vs an opponent with a spear. Training weapons, so hard foam over kevlar cores, but still swords. I love my job

I just love the tang <3

I will admit that this sword I didn't mean to order is very shiny. I meant to order a high carbon steel falchion but instead I got the Sword of Thranduil made out of stainless steel. They sharpened and mirror polished it and over a year it is this shiny lol

Shiny elf sword

Practicing in the kitchen because...why not. It is raining and don't want to get the wax holding the hilt wrap to get wet and fall apart. Also can get rusty since metal is carbon steel.
 It is a Blackfencer make of synthetic nylon and considered the closest in weight and balance of steel.
 Liechtenauer based fencing style. 
 (I've already hit the ceiling a few times, going to have to apologize to neighbor upstairs one day)
