sometimes I wonder how much of a Neanderthal am I? I feel like my adaptations make me uncool. seriously man. I'm white because my ancestors live in a no sun zone.. I've been reading recently on how scientists have used spider bodies as a tool for grabbing things delicately ,and I have also seen them use a mosquitoes proboscis as a 3d printers nozzle. 
So I am curious to ask
What are your thoughts on this? How far do you think it will go? Do you have any worries about it? What other possibilities might arise?

In the movie Interstellar. Wormholes are depicted as something akin to a blackhole. An orb that bends light around it. Rather than a flat plane like a disk.

If a wormhole is an orb, and not a flat surface, like what you'd see in a text book. But, still retains the properties of being essentially a portal from one place to the next.

Would it matter from which angle you entered that portal, as to where you came out? Kinda like driving straight ahead on the average multipoint roundabout.

Or, does it just take you to the exact same spot, regardless of entry angle? Acting more similarly to a regular household door. As in- you leave your bedroom and there's always going to be a hallway on the other side, no matter how many times you open that door. And vice versa.

Your brain doesn’t magically switch stress off when you look at a fern, but something real and fascinating does happen. The moment your eyes trace its repeating leaf patterns, your nervous system starts responding in subtle ways you rarely notice. That quiet pull is not imagination. It is biology meeting mathematics, and it is powerful enough to change how your body feels in the moment.

Ferns are rich in fractals, repeating patterns that look similar no matter how closely you zoom in. These same patterns appear everywhere in nature, from coastlines and clouds to blood vessels and neural networks. Research in environmental psychology and neuroscience shows that when humans view natural fractal patterns, especially those with mid-range complexity, the brain processes them more efficiently. This reduced mental effort is associated with lower stress indicators such as decreased cortisol levels, calmer breathing, and reduced activity in the brain’s stress-related pathways.

Your visual system evolved in natural environments filled with fractals. When you encounter them, your brain does not have to work as hard to interpret what it sees. Studies using EEG and fMRI scans suggest that viewing natural fractals can shift brain activity toward relaxed alpha waves, the same patterns seen during meditation or light daydreaming. This does not mean stress instantly disappears, but it does mean your nervous system gets a break.

That is why even brief exposure to plants, trees, or natural scenery can improve focus, emotional regulation, and mental recovery. Ferns simply happen to be a beautifully clear example of this effect. Nature is not a cure-all, but it is a scientifically supported tool for calming the mind. Sometimes, relief begins with something as simple as where you rest your eyes.

I was almost about to make soda bread, but I wanted to work with the biochemistry of yeast. Added some more sugar and some salt for flavor. I’ll keep gettng better. Just ensure the kitchen is at a minimum of 72 degrees F (22.2C)  and the water is around 100 degrees F (37.78C). It works! Ensure you pan is lightly oiled to avoid direct burning from contact. 😋

Homo habilis is one of the earliest members of the Homo genus. Initially believed to be the first maker of stone tools, its discovery in 1960.Important Homo habilis fossils have been discovered in Tanzania, Kenya, Ethiopia and South Africa. Lake Turkana in northern Kenya yielded a particularly significant collection of fossils.

Unlike our ancient ancestor Homo erectus, Homo habilis didn’t migrate out of Africa, so its fossils aren’t found elsewhere in the world.Homo habilis used simple stone tools made from chipped pebbles and flakes of stone. They’re often called Oldowan tools because the first such artefacts came from Olduvai Gorge. Some scientists prefer the term Mode 1 tools.

This type of tool was in use from about 3.0 million to 1.3 million years ago during the early Stone Age, known scientifically as the Lower Palaeolithic.
