This is my first attempt at trying to preserve a flower by mineralization. The petals didn't seem to take on any minerals, but the leaves did alright. As near as I can tell it's mostly surface crystallization and not the interalized one I was trying for.

We had a hydrogen bubble fire experiment at the science lab at Discovery Lab a few months ago, and I was able to get a video of myself getting my hands set on fire. It was the second time I'd gotten to do that in my life, the first being in my 10th grade chemistry class a few months before my family had to move back to Oklahoma from Washington in 2020. It was really nice to hold the funny flames once more.

This video shows how I added Ammonia to a solution of Copper(II) Sulphate to create the Ammonium-Sulphate Copper complex: the copper coordinates an Ammonia molecule which has a lone electron pair, and that electron pair is donated to the copper which accepts it in its d orbital; this process is repeated 4 times. 
Along with the chemistry behind this, I really love this complexation and I think it has a unique color, even if it's vastly seen in the chemistry world.

It might be odd for some to see the tag I used or others might assume I may speak of the subject matter I fear of, but always get fascinated by.

Tonight, I found the right amount of baking powder to get the cake to rise perfectly.

Tonight, the potion turned into the proper magenta shade it needs to be efficient.

Tonight, I met a human.

How come? He didn't force anything. He listened. He suggested. He reassured. He communicated. He was straightforward and honest.

Depending on your experiences, you might find this basic or you might relate to it.
However,  most men (from my experience) have lacked at least one of these actions.

And to note: I am not claiming that the person mentioned is perfect. Each individual has flaws.
Yet, it was the presence of those traits that have been difficult to find combined that got me inspired to write my heart's words.

In defense of the argumentation side, I am aware of the honeymoon phase and I keep as much objectivity as possible which got me to notice flaws.
And of course, this is a "for now" statement, no conclusion can be withdrawn just yet.

The goal of this post is to point out the beauty of such traits and the smoothness they provide to the formation of chemistry.

Having the looks, the "background" (educated, stable life, etc) and good intentions is admirable and a privilege at most.

Yet, it is those *free* characteristics that show a certain purity and gives out a sense of comfort during interactions.

Bless that man. And may many more come across every woman with genuine intentions.
