At around 23:37 Japan time on the 2nd, there was an M7.7 earthquake near the Philippines (Philippine Islands, Mindanao). Tsunami warnings, etc. (major tsunami warnings, tsunami warnings, or tsunami advisories) are being announced.

Do not stop evacuating until the Tsunami Warning has been lifted. Tsunami waves can hit repeatedly and get even higher. Keep evacuating to higher ground if possible. Do not return under any circumstances until the Tsunami Warning has been lifted.
