In Task manager from the bottom panel, you can force stop running apps. Do that. Uninstall programs, games that you installed which are no longer needed. Increase the free space in local disk C. Wait for a few more time for programs to open and close, if you are using smalller ram in your computer. Keep only your work related files and one or two programs, in your work computer. (edited)
