First morning run at Corsica

Goal is to reach 30

I topped my first attempt, but there's always room for growth.

My second halfmarathon

Šest závodních týdnu v řadě je zdárně u konce.

Začalo to maratonem v Bratislavě, pokračovalo to voděním na 1:50 v Děčíně a neoficiálně na 1:40 v Drážďanech, pak byl další maraton, tenkrát v Praze, Vltava run a nyní Karlovy Vary.

Vloni byl čas 1:38:05 top a letos?

Na začátku jsme ty unavené nohy docela cítil, ale plán byl předem daný, držet to pod 160 tepů a to se dařilo o v tempu pod 4:40.

První pětka byla velmi konzervativní, jen na dobrý pocit. 

Druhá pětka už šla víc do tempa, jen trošku brzdil protivítr.

Třetí pětka, tu jsem si užíval asi nejvíc, tolik placáku jsem si na žádném závodě snad nikdy nedal a vůbec mi nevadilo si nabíhat ty oblouky i k dětem, co stály 5 metrů od ideální stopy.

Poslední šestka už byla profilově náročnější, jen jsem běžel a užíval si. Cílový čas jsem tipoval pod 1:37, ale k mému překvapení byl na cílové rovince čas 1:35:XX a ještě jsem to stihl ve výstřelovém čase pod 1:37, čipový čas 1:35:33 = můj třetí nejrychlejší půlmaraton a to jsem naplno rozhodně neběžel!

Na letošní Karlovy Vary budu vzpomínat rád!

This morning I completed a proper half marathon around London — 21 beautiful kilometres through the city 😊

Despite a few stops at traffic lights, I still managed a very good time, around two hours, and honestly I’m feeling very happy and grateful today. Beautiful sunshine, good energy, and the perfect way to start the day.

I hope everyone is enjoying this gorgeous London weather
