ĐĂNG KÝ

"I don't mind being a character actor. I don't mind not being a star. Something Judith Anderson once said to me has always stayed with me. 'I don't want to be a star, I want to be an actress. Stars fall down from the heavens - they're beautiful but that's it. Actors have to work hard to create their character.'"

Helmut Dantine

Helmut Dantine Tiểu sử

Helmut Dantine was an Austrian-American actor who made a name for himself in Hollywood during the 1940s and 1950s. Born in Vienna, Austria in 1917, Dantine initially studied law before dropping out to pursue a career in theater. He landed his first acting role in the Viennese production of "Volpone" in 1934 and soon after began appearing in films in Germany. In 1938, Dantine fled Austria after the Anschluss, the annexation of Austria by Nazi Germany. He eventually made his way to the United States and began his Hollywood career with a small role in the film "The Great Dictator" (1940), directed by Charlie Chaplin. Over the next decade, he appeared in numerous films, including "Edge of Darkness" (1943), "Mrs. Parkington" (1944), and "Casablanca" (1942), in which he played the role of Jan Brandel. Despite his success in Hollywood, Dantine's career began to decline in the late 1950s, and he eventually turned to television work. He made guest appearances on shows such as "The Twilight Zone" and "Perry Mason" and even directed an episode of "The Outer Limits" in 1964. Dantine also returned to the stage, both as an actor and director, and taught drama in the Los Angeles area. He passed away in 1982 at the age of 65.

Helmut Dantine thuộc nhóm tính cách nào?

Helmut Dantine is an Enneagram Four personality type with a Three wing or 4w3. 4w3s have competitive and image-conscious energy that wants to be unique and a total stand out. However, their sensitivity from the third wing makes them more aware of what others think than those who have a fourth type temperament or fifth wing influence on social acceptability. Healing by eliminating their own feelings does not come easily for them as deep down they also yearn for self-expression to be heard and understood.
