Okay, you are probably aware about Unity’s occlusion culling and a strong recommendation for using LODs/QuadTrees and culling in general. 

But did you know, that a custom implementation of all of those techniques + custom Frustum Culling, based on Parallel Jobs (no ESC though) actually has higher performance compared to similar Unity’s built-in solutions? (Especially since you cannot use some “built-ins” with runtime generation)

Even threading the custom Frustum Culling gives you an FPS boost, which is funny, since Unity advises you to use their Culling for increasing performance. 

So, my advice - always profile your performance, even with built-in solutions and try to improve on them. You might get surprised what may be achieved with custom-tailored solutions.
