I spent most of the morning coding a generator to make signs from English text to English and Braille for 3D printing

My first 3D model in FreeCAD.

I decided to learn FreeCAD since it is in Linux and is open source. For my first 3d model i made and adapter so i could install a motorcycle trunk.

I modeled industrial equipment for almost five years after moving back to Atlanta from Florida. This is some of my work.

So this was a model I made that I was gonna use in a game but ended up getting bored with it and moved on lol. I started out 3D modeling weapons, swords, knives, guns, artillery etc etc. and is something I really enjoy especially swords and artillery pieces.

I lost a lot of my older works unfortunately since it was on one of my drives that got completely fried and never backed it up. Important lesson for all digital artists, don't be stupid like me and not back up your work on different drives lmfao.

Free CAD programs?

Are there any free cad programs that are easy to use, but also have more design options? Tinkercad doesn't have many options for object manipulation and fusion360 is a bit too complicated for me to learn having a migraine. (edited)
