The Mummy (2026)

AKA Lee Cronin's The Mummy. One cannot watch The Mummy and not be left with the impression that Cronin has real issues with his mother in law. It's usually a bad sign when a director crowbars their name into the movie title. In this case, it wasn't as bad as I feared it would be. This version of… read more

When you realise Laurence Fishburne has a son named Langston who acted as a reference for his younger self in Antman and the Wasp..

The face was probably still all cgi since they don't actually look that similar.

don't bother to watch it

jeeesus christ on a motorbike, what a dumpster fire of a movie I expected something with a charm of Super 8 + dinosaurs... What I got is frozen in headlights Anne Hathaway's face who made Ewan McGregor look old af, dialogues recorded for some reason on a green screen (where there were no dinosaurs… read more

Film #12 Prince of Darkness (1987)

Horror Supernatural Move over CGI and lame jump scares; Here come the actual props and a logical story... My Rating ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Has anyone seen this show?

This show was quite funny and had a really interesting premise. The CGI at times was bad, but I think it's underrated and hopefully we will get more of it adapted.

Who is gonna see the new jjk movie dec 5thh??? And do you think cgi will be used

Hidden gem ⭐️

Any underrated anime recommendations? Im going first 👉🏼 Kamikatsu: Working for God in a Godless World is a hidden gem. And no the cursed CGI moments are 100% intentional. Dont skip it. 😂✨

Cartoon Network was the best

They dont make cartoons like they used to, its all CGI now, even Disney stuff. 🫤 Cartoon Network was full of originality, I used to love it! Sometimes if i have trouble sleeping, i rewatch an old show. Heres a picture i drew of Ed, Edd and Eddy. Classic 🤣

Chainsaw man

CHAINSAW MAN AND THE CGI SLAYS SO HARD U CANT TELL ME OTHERWISE

The best thor movie ever

The plot, the everything, the cgi. Luv it. 10/10 must watch!

🪚

Watched Saw 1-7 and they're pretty good! LOVE that instead of using cgi to make people younger they just put em in a backwards baseball cap and call it a day. I think modern movies should adopt this 10/10 method.

transformers: rise of the beast

it was the best transformer movie out of all the sequels. CGI was amazing, very action packed and the 3rd act was awesome 🔥❤️

The sun is no longer CGI. Just a bright disk

Superman 2025

Superman at the drive inns . Like wth is even this movie but a CGI fever dream lol

Thoughts

Do y'all fw the new cgi on anime coz personally it don't do it for me

NOT Judi Dench

In CGI fur licking her own snatch

Yup, that wasn't good either

And I say that with all the love I can muster : this movie was not good 😐 Gundam Seed is the very first Gundam show I've ever watched (except for those 3 episodes of Wing I saw when I was 10), so it holds a special place in my heart. I've always known the Fandom is very hard on this entry because… read more

Columbo

wich of the oldies still remember inspector Columbo🤣 man shows back.in the day had really good writing and actual acting now they just forfeit acting for CGI or punch punch

Before and after CGI

Unpopular Opinion

Avatar is mid. It's pretty, sure, but it lacks SO much substance. The entire reboot of the Planet of the Apes series up until now, has been 10x more visually stunning, the CGI blending is almost seamless in over 50% of the scenes that have real people in them, and the storytelling is just as… read more

Who remembers this movie

A good fast movie without Computer-generated imagery or CGI for short.

Who else loves using filters? 💅

I thought I was overusing filters until I saw some of you practically Facetuning yourself into witness protection. It’s giving “new identity, who dis?” Honestly, I admire the commitment, your makeup artistry should qualify as visual effects. Keep serving those CGI cheekbones and remember to… read more

What's your favorite animated film?

Whether you watched it recently or when you were a kid, what's your favorite film that was animated? CGI, hand drawn, or a mix of both. As long as it's not live action!

And the best supporting actor goes to... The live action CGI guy

CGI character design by me

I created this character in zbrush and render in keyshot final comp I did in after effects (edited)

Mars Tattoos vs Venus Tattoos

Hi, I am a gay male (really, gender-queer), an author, and a hyperrealistic character artist via CGI (photo manipulation + artificial intelligence). I want to get many of my characters tattooed on my body, but I'm hesitant to get any of my male characters tattooed on my body lest my future… read more

Rate the Film:2011’s The Thing

Where would you rate Thr Thing? Feel free to express your thoughts and opinions in the comments. For me: ⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2. It’s one of those strange instances where I saw this before seeing the original and this is a prequel to the original which I didn’t know going into I.. So seeing this first then the… (edited) read more

Your go to Disney film to watch :

I'm more focused on the 2D animation not the trash cgi money grab

CGI in anime

What are some examples of it working or failing Example of working: The Duke of Death and his Maid Example of Failing: EX arm

Good animal movies

Does anyone know good movies that have creautre preferably something that doesnt have a lot of cgi in it

Just rewatched Age of Ultron

Why is this movie soo clean. Every character has purpose and delivers something cool when on screen and Ultron tho... like CGI being legendary aside the voice, the dialogues... very well made. What happened to cinema

Thoughts on the new Fantastic Four movie (no spoiler)

Honestly overall? Good movie. I did prefer the Thunderbolts* but it is definitely better than like BNW. I like how they set up the characters, tho it was a bit long but felt needed as it is not an origin story. CGI was great, only a few things stood out for me. Story was fine but I was expecting… read more

Do you like old horror movies with practical effects or new cgi ones? Alien series is one of the best examples for comparison.

Marvel Syndrome

Honest question, why do people continue to love marvel? It's the same dried out formula over and over again, not a shred of originality and every movie is estheticially pleasing but story and characters are not. A majority of phase 4 marvel has been terrible so why do y'all continue to watch it?… (edited) read more

Alien: Romulus was great. Hopefully the black goo mutated monsters don’t become a big thing though.

Saw it on steaming as a little birthday treat yesterday and I really enjoyed it. Had the horror of Alien and the action of Aliens, plus David Jonsson was amazing as the different versions of Andy. And even “Rook” looked better than most CGI de-aged/recreated actors do. I’d say it’s probably my… read more

Need something to watch ?

I recommend trigun stampede it's a CGI version of the original series trigun . Currently 3 episodes subbed but it'll drag you in the moment you start (edited)

Whisper of the heart.

In an era of CGI, Studio Ghibli still uses hand drawn animation ❣️ (edited)
