Apologies mean nothing without a thoughtful commitment to change what was wronged. In some cases we are all here because of second chances. In other cases some folks don't get second chances because of the pain they caused and their unwillingness to correct it. If someone doesn't do the work involved, talking to the offended party, understanding the offence, and makes an honest commitment to changed behavior then no, they don't deserve a 2nd chance. If the offence was so great that it caused you severe pain mental, spiritual, physical...or brought harm to you or others to the degree that you will be unable to be the same person you were before then also no. Change in their behaviour also requires you to accept that change as possible and if you are still dealing with the offence then that might not be feasible despite change given. In short 2nd chances are a case by case basis. They ask the most important question in the relationship dynamic: "If this person caused me this much pain, are they worth experiencing that type of pain again?"

Depends on the situation. Like my case, Nuh-uh, when i was severely, brutally wrestled by my husband (now ex) in front of my kids, just to cover up his office scandal.

Depends... because been there done that and got treated like a doormat. Lost my home, truck and dog. Trying to make it work. An honest mistake is one thing, choosing to do something social common sense sees as wrong. Ie- Cheating, stealing; is not acceptable.

You shouldn't speak in absolutes either way. I would say generally to open your heart and hear someone out. If they're undeserving, it will be abundantly clear quite quickly. If not, try to be a big person with graciousness and let them show their worth and intention. However, there are some actions that don't deserve a second chance and trust - just don't press that for any and all grievances, that's small and ego -driven.

It really depends on what they have done. If you both agree to take a break, then come back together, I would say yes give it a second go. But if it's cheating, there is no second chance for me.

Giving a second chance on its own doesn't resolve the underlying issue, therefore it will happen again if the issue was not addressed and dealt with. If this issue is inside of a person's head then there is nothing you can do, not because nothing can't be done, but because of the modern sacred sovereignty of one's mental conditions, whatever they are.

Yes, I believe giving second chance in reality is necessary and everyone deserves second chance, 🤔but not game though. No second chance for gamer, not for enemies, definitely not for teammates. Giving second chance to teammates is like giving a grenade to a mad man.

Generally speaking when we have the opportunity to open our eyes in the morning and wake up, it means we have one more chance to be better than yesterday, trying not to make the same mistakes and try to be the best version of yourself. Regarding the love relationship, there is also the possibility of a second chance, depending on the reason that the first chance ceased to exist. Because if there is no change from the person with oneself, things will continue to go wrong and in general, for the willingness, a chance is enough to make it right.

Yes, however only a 2nd one I don't allow 3rd chances. I'm fairly easy going too so if it got to the point where there needs to be a 2nd chance. I'm less easy going and definitely more distant.
