This is a photo I took of the sun using a telescope and a solar filter (the solar filter allows you to view the sun safely)

The dark patches you see are called sunspots sunspots are areas of reduced surface temperature due to higher concentrations of magnetic flux. Most of them are bigger than earth.

For me it has to be Boltzman Brains. With the recent discovery that virtual particles do exist, and a lack of evidence that the universe will collapse in the future, it seems to me that we have to be Boltzman Brains due to sheer probability. I don't believe it matters, since even a false reality is just as significant to the beings living inside it. It is fun to think about though.

This one is a proof of concept. Can I funnel baking soda into a cylinder without it spilling out? The answer is yes, utilizing a window blinds facade, the particles spill out, but is held in place by the blinds. There are blinds both internally and externally, with vents in the bottom to let airflow in. I just need to allow an opening on the top to make use of Bernoulli's principle, creating an updraft from the bottom. This is super over-engineered, but I think that is precisely why it's so fun. The challenge is to not use any filters or mesh to allow airflow and to use strictly geometry. 

I've also learned that air penetrates baking soda by only 3mm, so a bed of baking soda will have layers that are not utilized. Of course, one can shake the container to cycle the powder, but as much as I want, I'd like it to be all utilized without having to shake the container occasionally.
