Rewatching AOT

​Perhaps the saddest aspect of Eren’s character is that he became a prisoner of the very freedom he sought. Once he touched Historia’s hand, he gained access to the memories of the future. He realized that his path—including the deaths of his comrades and the Rumbling—was already set in stone. He tried to find other ways, but the timeline was immutable, turning him into a "slave to freedom" who had to march toward a horrific destiny he didn't necessarily want but felt forced to execute.

Was Eren’s plan justified?

I just finished the series for the first time.  The entire last season was just a continuous loop of "what the actual eff?!" and "nooooo" for me.

I still haven't decided how I feel beyond Captain Levi is my short king for life. Get it, sir. 

I am going to have to go into an immediate rewatch and see how I feel this time.
