Now (re)Watching : "The Flash" (2023)

I actually enjoy this movie, even though the actor is an annoying human, the movie itself is quite well written and delivered. May be because I've always liked Barry Allen (the 1990s series definitely deserved more seasons) or it may be because I'm a sucker for multiverses, and time travel (blame… read more

Film #131 Snatch (2000)

Crime Comedy 26 years it's been and this film is still such a kick ass! Not a single boring scene. Witty dialogues and humor from the back alleys of London. "London. You know: fish, chips, cup 'tea, 'real bad weather, 'barry white, 'london underground, 'joblot. Mind you, that's 'men 'o 'the… (edited) read more

How Come...

How come Jerry is short for Jerome, but Barry isn't short for Barome? Or Barold? And don't even get me started on Billy being short for William. 😡

Hamnet (2025/ English)

Based on the novel of the same name, the film is the cinematic take on the family life of renowned playwright William Shakespeare. Technically brilliant, which gives you shades of classics like 'Barry Lyndon', the film progresses poetically, but then it becomes too poetic and draggy till the… read more

Just Barry Things

Barry Allen the dog

Everywhere I bring my dog, people gush about how much they love him. He's a super sweet boy and a unique breed mix. He's a Rottweiler-Schnauzer mix. I should have named him Scooby-Doo, because he's scared of the weirdest things. He's my little giant baby. ❤️
